1973 MCA Records double LP of Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, catalog MCA2-10003, offered as a sealed 33 1/3 RPM two-record set. Because the copy remains unopened, the specific pressing and matrices are unverified, and it is not represented as a first pressing.

The jacket is still under shrink wrap, visible along the edges and corners, with both sleeve and record condition listed as mint to near mint. The front presents Ian Beck’s illustrated cracked-wall scene: Elton John seen from behind, stepping toward a yellow road and green landscape, the title set above in yellow block lettering, with MCA2-10003 printed at lower left and Beck’s signature at lower right.

The rear cover carries the MCA Records layout with centered title panel, Elton caricature over a star, four-side track listing, and production credits. Visible credits identify lyrics by Bernie Taupin, music by Elton John, production by Gus Dudgeon, orchestral arrangements by Del Newman, recording at Strawberry Studios in France, and remixing at Trident Studios in London. The song program includes Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, Candle in the Wind, Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting, and Harmony.

As a sealed MCA double LP from Elton John’s 1973 catalog, this copy preserves the album’s theatrical visual language as much as its music: an intact, illustrated sleeve wrapped around one of the John/Taupin era’s most expansive four-side formats.
