Sefronia

1973 DiscReet Records single LP of Tim Buckley’s Sefronia, a sealed 33 1/3 RPM vinyl copy with pressing details unverified while the shrink remains intact. The back cover shows the DiscReet mark and a visible MS 2157 catalog number; inventory condition notes place both the record and outer sleeve in the Mint to Near Mint range, though the vinyl itself has not been visually inspected due to the seal.

The jacket is built around a deep red field, with gold-toned serif lettering and a framed front-cover portrait of Buckley giving the package a spare, almost formal presence. The rear carries the full program across two sides, including Dolphins, Honey Man, Because of You, Peanut Man, Martha, Quicksand, I Know I’d Recognize Your Face, Stone In Love, the two Sefronia pieces, and Sally Go ’Round The Roses, with a second color photograph set into the lower panel. The shrink shows typical corner tension and light storage handling at the edges, but the presentation remains clean and collectible.

Produced by Denny Randell, the album credits Tim Buckley on 12-string guitar and vocals, with Bernie Mysior, Buddy Helm, Mark Tiernan, Joe Falsia, and additional studio musicians listed in dense period type. The rear sleeve also notes recording at Paramount Recording Studios in Los Angeles, with portions recorded at Record Plant in New York and Devonshire Sound Studios in North Hollywood, plus photography by Ed Caraeff and design by Cal Schenkel.
