The front cover presents the pale illustrated field with hand-drawn CAT STEVENS lettering, the A&M logo and catalog number at upper right, and a black-and-gold hype sticker advertising “Peace Train” and “Moonshadow.”

The sleeve art carries Stevens’s storybook visual language: Teaser seated beside the orange Firecat under a moonlit fence on the front, with the reverse shifting to green star-patterned trousers and boots around the printed track list.
