The glossy black jacket presents the album’s spare, nocturnal cover art: a dark figure nearly absorbed into shadow, a sharp red-and-white vertical accent, the red Aja script at upper right, and Steely Dan in clean white type. The back cover is equally restrained, listing the seven-song program—Black Cow, Aja, Deacon Blues, Peg, Home at Last, I Got the News, and Josie—above the ABC Records mark and 1977 printing text.

The original printed inner sleeve is included, with band text, small photos, lyrics/credits, and production information visible in the images. The vinyl is graded Very Good with light wear. The outer sleeve grades Very Good to Good Plus, with light handling wear, corner and edge rub, and ring wear visible on the back.
