Axis: Bold As Love
Estimated 2002 Classic Records / Track Record mono LP reissue of The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s Axis: Bold As Love, originally published in 1967 and produced by Chas Chandler. This sealed reissue/remaster is specified as a 200-gram hand-made pressing on Classic Records’ Quiex SV-P Super Vinyl Profile, with the front shrink sticker still visible.
Presented in single-LP format, the jacket carries the album’s saturated psychedelic artwork: Hendrix centered before radiating pink and gold bands, surrounded by a dense procession of painted figures, crowns, arms, and devotional iconography. The upper-left “MONO” marking and lower-right “200 Gram Classic Records Quiex SV-P” sticker are clear on the front. The back continues the ornate Indian-inspired tableau in turquoise, saffron, red, green, and gold, with the sealed wrap visible around the edges.
Condition is listed as mint to near mint for both the record and outer sleeve. Because the copy remains sealed, the vinyl has not been visually inspected here; the sleeve appears clean in the images, with typical shrink reflection and light ripple to the wrap but no obvious major wear shown. As a later Classic Records presentation of a 1967 Hendrix Experience title, it offers a collectible pairing of period artwork, mono format, and heavyweight reissue manufacture.
