1980 Rolling Stones Records copy of The Rolling Stones’ Emotional Rescue, catalog COC 16015, presented as a sealed, unverified 33 1/3 RPM single LP produced by The Glimmer Twins. This copy is not identified as a first pressing, and because it remains sealed the exact pressing and matrix details have not been confirmed; inventory notes record the LP and outer sleeve in mint to near mint condition and note the presence of a poster.

The front jacket carries the album’s distinctive thermal-image design: a dark field pierced by electric blue figure forms and small orange flares, with “The Rolling Stones” and “Emotional Rescue” set in red across the black top band. The rear continues the heat-map palette in green, blue, yellow, and red, with the track list printed in a narrow black header: “Dance,” “Summer Romance,” “Send It To Me,” “Let Me Go,” “Indian Girl,” “Where the Boys Go,” “Down in the Hole,” “Emotional Rescue,” “She’s So Cold,” and “All About You.”

The shrink wrap remains visible across the jacket, with light natural rippling at the edges and corners but no opening shown in the photographs. As a sealed 1980 Stones title retaining its period packaging, this copy has the appeal of an album object preserved at the moment of release: graphic, tactile, and tied to the band’s turn-of-the-decade studio era.
