1967 Capitol Records stereo LP of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, catalog SMAS-2653, produced by George Martin and preserved sealed in its shrink wrap. This is a single LP copy with the pressing variant not verifiable while sealed, and it is not identified as a first pressing.

The front presents the album’s celebrated collage tableau with the Beatles in vivid military-style costumes, the floral title treatment across the lower edge, and a yellow stereo banner at the top. The back cover carries the red lyric layout, SMAS-2653 printed at upper right, Capitol and EMI logos, and credits noting George Martin’s production, the Peter Blake and Jann Haworth staging, and Michael Cooper photography.

Condition is collectible-focused: the record is noted Mint/Near Mint, with the outer sleeve also noted Mint/Near Mint. The shrink remains intact with light natural wrinkling visible at the edges and a documented slight tear along the spine shrink. As a sealed copy of one of 1967’s defining studio-era LPs, it retains strong display presence while keeping its exact internal label and matrix details undisturbed.
