1986 Sire/Rough Trade 33 1/3 single LP of The Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead, catalog number 9 25426-1, sealed in its original shrink with the pressing unverifiable without opening. The rear panel shows the Sire and Rough Trade marks, U.S. manufacturing text, barcode 0 7599-25426-1, and the full ten-song program, from “The Queen Is Dead” and “Frankly, Mr. Shankly” through “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out” and “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others.”

The jacket presents the album’s deep green, film-still-style cover image beneath pale pink serif lettering, a severe and elegant design that suits the record’s austere 1986 presence. The back cover continues the same green field with the track list printed in matching pink italics, sparse and theatrical against the dark ground.

Condition is especially collectible: the record is sealed and graded mint/near mint by inventory history, with the outer sleeve noted near mint. A clean discount punch is present near the top edge, visible through the shrink; the wrap remains intact with typical edge/corner puckering and reflective surface marks from the plastic. A strong sealed example of a defining Smiths title, offered with its retail-era packaging still undisturbed.
